There are countless ways to speak through light, darkness, and form. What you see here is a traditional language—one translated into the present moment. I have been painting and exhibiting for over thirty years, sometimes professionally, always faithfully devoted to the practice of conversing with light every single day.

I believe in learning to apply the body’s own sensory intelligence—our lived perception—to shape experiences that reach another’s senses as a true form of communication. First, one learns to mirror reality so perfectly that its essence becomes known; only then may one move beyond imitation and begin to speak directly to the senses themselves.

Anyone can copy an image—few can create one that is born of themselves. My work is made entirely by hand, from what I see, know, and feel. In a time so steeped in technology, I hold it vital to preserve a purely human language—an honest means of expression—so that we may keep alive the deep insight granted by seeing beyond and through the fleeting shapes of existence.

It is my hope that these guided reflections offer you glimpses of yourself, of those around you, and of the living nature of existence itself. With so many perspectives imposed upon us, it becomes all the more important to think, discern, and feel genuinely—from one’s own truth.
